Hot Tub/ Spa Installations

Need Help with Your Hot Tub or Pool Electrical System?

AS their prices have fallen, hot tubs, pools, and saunas have become popular among metro-area homeowners. But while they may have become easier to fit into a family budget, they haven’t become any easier to install – especially as it relates to their power requirements. We can not only help get your hot tub, pool, or spa up and running quickly and affordably, but we can also ensure it's wired safely.

Hot Tub Electrical Installation

Installing a hot tub is a surprisingly complicated process that often requires the help of a licensed electrician. Among other things, you’ll need the electrician to determine the tub’s voltage and amperage requirements, install a suitable circuit breaker and GFCI disconnect, and potentially run new wiring to the tub. It’ll also require several types of testing and a final inspection before you start using it.

Pool Electrical Installation

Pool electrical systems are often even more complex than hot tub systems, as pools not only have filtration and circulation systems that require electricity, but many also have lights built in, which must also be wired correctly. Additionally, because many pools are built into the ground, some of the wiring and electrical components can be hard to access and require specialized tools.

Dry Sauna Electrical Installation

Dry saunas may not hold water, but they still present safety and installation challenges that necessitate the help of a licensed electrician. Besides providing suitable voltage and amperage to the sauna, you’ll also need to have a circuit breaker and emergency disconnect installed. Additionally, different saunas use different types of heaters, further complicating the installation process.

Wet Sauna Electrical Installation

Installing the electrical system for a wet sauna is relatively similar to the installation process for a dry sauna, except that the presence of water presents additional safety concerns. This means it is critical that you secure the assistance of a licensed electrician, who can determine the power requirements for the sauna, install the necessary components, and test the system before you start using it.
